Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will do in This Role:
- Monitor in-bound product for expedited stock and ensure to expedite accordingly.
- Monitor all unreleased deliveries to assist in resolution, so product can be shipped.
- Monitor all rush/must ship orders and ensure shipping guidelines are met.
- Assist with required stock verification needed prior to a delivery being created.
- Assist employees in following outbound shipping requirements for customers and eliminate any delays.
- Communicate crating/special packaging needs by order/item and ensure proper guidelines are followed.
- Log all expedited deliveries and communicate tracking or issues to corporate office.
- Investigate root cause and corrective actions for any customer service failures involving timeliness of shipments.
- Be flexible and work necessary overtime as prescribed or needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
What We are Looking For:
- Typically, High School Diploma. 3 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised work group(s). Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- Supervises hourly employees, typically in a manufacturing or production environment.
- MS Office, Outlook, Excel, SAP and other programs preferred.
- Primarily intra-organizational contacts and limited external contacts.
