Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for receiving, stocking, and tracking all incoming inventories. In addition, this position will oversee monitoring inventory trends and working with others on the manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cycle counts and minimum stock quantities are shown in our systems. When parts must leave the building for outside services, this position will also manage the delivery and return of those parts and will help manage relationships with our outside vendors. This position is key in helping us ensure on time delivery to our customers by avoiding stockouts of vital materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
• Coordinates cycle count activities with various departments.
• Receives deliveries.
• Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
• Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
• Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
• Reports on inventory levels and supply chain projects to management.
• Assists with training of new inventory employees.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Scheduling outside process vendor drop offs and pickups.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma
• Associates degree, or previous training in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain a plus.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with Inventory Management software.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting – up to 8hrs per day.
• Will be on manufacturing floor prone to loud noises and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to lift 40+ pounds, and 15-20 pounds consistently throughout the day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
