Inventory Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inventory control - inventory all items in the building, scrap out damaged items, coding accordingly, fill out and send discrepancy report

2. Quality control – Ensure product coming in and going out is the right item and quantity, product coming in is not damaged, place bad product on Hold when the mill or nugget plants may have issues

3. Receiving coordinator – Make sure that all incoming loads have the right paperwork, the right quantity, the right lot dates, the right pallet count, fill out and send discrepancy report

4. Recycle – Complete recycle spreadsheet, put all items on Hold, make spreadsheet of recycle weight, make spreadsheet for IT to transfer over, make spreadsheet for dumping/recycle, make sure all items are dumped and/or put in recycle row, schedule truck for pickup of recycle, take everything off hold and out of the system when dumped, take everything off hold when ship out recycle

5. FEFO –Complete the FEFE spreadsheet

6. Lot Traceability- Fill out all 4 pages of the traceability report

7. Answer all emails on overage/shortages

8. Help forklift operators with inventory issues missing product/license

9. Receive all trucks from Nationwide

10. Re-leave Customer service/office clerk for lunch, help schedule loads and help answer the phone

11. back up operations Managers when out, unlock the door in the morning, get the front desk ready for the day, Works Saturdays in the place of ops Manager

12. 12.All other duties including helping on housekeeping side if needed

13. Forklift Experience is a must

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to use computer, Office 365 email, word, excel programs
• Ability to work in a Team environment
• Committed to safety & organizational goals
• Professional communication skills
• Self-motivated able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand/sit for continuous periods of time
• Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays
• Must be able to meet attendance expectation
• Must be able to follow all safety, food safety, customer, Federal and State regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
