Job Summary:
Jewelry Inventory Manager: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Jewelry Inventory Manager to oversee our Jewelry Store inventory pricing and control processes. The Jewelry Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels, pricing, jewelry and, inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing inventory turnover. This role requires five years experience in the jewelry industry, strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Develop and implement inventory management procedures and policies
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock counts
-Pricing Jewelry from purchases made over-the-counter as well as from manufacturer and providers
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly
- Oversee order fulfillment process, including shipping and receiving
- Utilize AS400 or similar systems to inventory movements and maintain accurate records
- Analyze jewelery, trans for our marketing area, and apply
- Work closely with the production planning team to ensure adequate stock levels
- Implement and maintain a cycle counting program to ensure ongoing accuracy of inventory records
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance inventory management practices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in e-commerce or distribution center environments is a plus
