Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Excellent mathematical, communication and computer skills, be strongly detail oriented and be able to easily multi-task.
- Should be able to independently initiate, prioritize, and perform or solve work problems and ultimately achieve work objectives and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with co-workers, supervisor and management.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).
- Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
- Must be able to work in a flexible schedule, including weekends, early mornings and after normal daily hours.
- Follow written (Standard Operating Procedures -SOP’s, company memos & emails) and verbal instructions.
- Minimum of six months related experience with demonstrated aptitude to learn on-the-job.
- Familiarity with plant equipment operation and SOPs.
- Possess a strong work ethic to positively contribute to the company’s mission, vision, values and environmental policy and quality policy.
- Must have a positive attitude, support co-workers to obtain desired objectives, and assist others in their contributions.
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time and access stairs and ladders in ambient or refrigerated environments.

- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (in required areas) for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift (up to 50 lbs), carry (up to 44 lbs) occasionally to frequently within normal limits.

- Must be able to learn ERP and WMS systems to perform data entry & print reports.
- Must be able and willing to travel between YCH shipping sites.
- Overnight travel may be up to 10% of the time.

Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to maintain accurate inventory records in all assigned warehouses. Help investigate and troubleshoot inventory and allocations issues in the WMS and ERP systems. Assist Warehouse Managers as needed during harvest.
Job Duties:
- Manage the inventory accuracy in all assigned warehouses and all product lines.
- Direct the activities of the inventory forklift drivers to ensure the shipping warehouses maintain a high accuracy of inventory physically and virtually in both the ERP and WMS systems.
- Investigate and resolve issues with inventory. Troubleshoot allocation issues and inventory discrepancies between the ERP and WMS systems.
- Participate in the cycle counts process in assigned warehouses and send counts on time to finance department.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts with warehouse and FGx crew and notify appropriate personnel to update changes in the ERP and WMS systems.
- Pro-actively manage transfers of product into the shipping warehouses to maintain a steady supply of product to streamline the shipping process.
- Request transfers of product from other areas of the company.
- Assist Warehouse Managers as needed during harvest receiving bales.
- Direct and oversee consolidation processes within the shipping warehouses.
- Perform the electronic transfer process for any product moving within the Yakima Chief Warehouse network or virtual warehouses.
- Continuously look for ways to improve process efficiency and notify immediate supervisor of observations and recommendations for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure processes are followed.
- Participate in Production and Inventory meetings.
- Confer with department supervision or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
- Work in conjunction with Lean Manufacturing Principles in the warehouses.
- Maintain sanitary and safe work environment and follow all safety requirements.
- May actively participate on company’s Safety Committee.
- Ensure that company safety policies as well as federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations are observed.
- Must have a complete understanding of company’s policies, SOPs, QPs, EPs, HACCP and cGMP to ensure quality, safety, efficiency and sustainability.
- Must adhere to all company policies and follow all SOPs in a given area.
- Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager and/or designee.
