What you’ll do on a typical day:
· Collect and organize inventory documents for entry into the inventory management system
· Enter data for quantities of scaffold pieces issued into the inventory management system and ensure accuracy of entry
· Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and supply possible solutions
· Produce weekly scaffold costing sheets and ensure job cost and billable cost are correct within accounting system
· Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedure in an effort to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy and maintain the highest possible productivity levels
· Create and distribute standard and/or weekly and monthly ad hoc reports
· Provide inventory back-up support in other members of the Scaffold Inventory Team
· Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
· Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed at Solid Platforms, Inc.:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
· High School Diploma
· Minimum of one (1) year of Inventory Control experience (Required)
· Working knowledge and understanding of Inventory Control practices
· Exceptional Microsoft Office skills
· Data entry and analysis skills
· Keen eye for detail
· Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
· Strong communication written and verbal skills
It’d be great if you also have:
· Experience and knowledge of tools, supplies, and equipment used in construction, equipment rental, and/or the building and maintenance of scaffolding
· Experience with Job Costing
· Working knowledge of SharePoint and/or Sage 300
