Job Description
About the Inventory Control Clerk opportunity:
Working under the direction of the Inventory Control Manager, performs administrative functions of the Inventory Department. Tracks the flow and quantity of inventory coming in and out of the facility. Performs inventories and ensures that all merchandise is properly tagged.
- Works with warehouse operations on the status of product
- Performs an ongoing inventory cycle of the entire facility
- Investigates and resolves any inventory problems
- Identifies, tracks and resolves inventory errors and problems.
- Supports the Inventory Control Manager with ongoing departmental initiatives and projects
- Maintains warehouse standards
- May operate and utilize ROS or other machines as necessary in the execution of the job function while adhering to safety standards
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Knowledge of inventory procedures
- Understanding of related computer applications and system usage
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective Communication skills
- Safety oriented
- Dependable and organized
- Professional demeanor
- Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds consistently
- Ability to operate forklift or ROS machine, prior experience highly preferred
- Acceptable criminal background check and negative drug test results
