- The successful candidate will join the platform device driver engineering team, with specific responsibilities related to testing, debugging, and benchmarking new driver software.
- In addition, the candidate will perform test, data collection, and data analysis related to performance and experience on target driver platforms.
- Acceptable candidates must possess extensive knowledge of PC based system including how to assemble and debug modern Client architecture bases system including installing operating systems, debugging driver and hardware issues.
- The candidate must be able to assemble a computer system from scratch as well as understand the details of reconfiguration systems with hardware, BIOS changes, and OS feature enabler.
- The candidate must have a good understanding of Windows and Linux operating system.
- Experience and ability to use high speed test equipment and software benchmark tools are required.
- Experience with pre-silicon test environment including simulation and emulation is a plus.
- The candidate must also have at least 3 years of test execution experience - execute software test cases against Client product baseline and industry performance benchmark.
- Bachelor degree with 5 years of software working experience.
