Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory and Equipment Manager to join our team at VXI. This role is based on-site in Tucson, Arizona, and entails managing our equipment inventory, ensuring the efficient allocation of equipment to our remote employees, developing, and delivering regular reports on inventory status, actively preventing equipment losses and malfunctions to avoid associated charges, and conducting weekly equipment audits to confirm equipment allocation in storage.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an accurate record of all equipment provided by the client, including but not limited to computers, headsets, phones, and other necessary assets.
- Conduct weekly audits of equipment storage areas to confirm accurate allocation and identify any discrepancies.
- Monitor equipment usage and identify any potential shortages or excesses, based on projections.
- Initiate requests to the internal departments and clients for additional equipment as needed.
Equipment Allocation:
- Assign equipment to remote employees as required, keeping detailed records of assets assignation.
- Identify and track equipment retrievals.
Reporting:
- Develop and maintain regular reports on equipment inventory status, allocation, and usage.
- Prepare reports for internal and external clients regarding the status of their equipment inventory.
- Prepare reports requested by internal and external clients on their tracking and processes.
Cost Management:
- Proactively report equipment retrieval rates and develop strategies to avoid equipment loss.
- Proactively track all the equipment purchases and assignations withing our virtual site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with computers and related equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Prior experience in BPO or similar industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel and relocate if required.
