The Role
Saildrone's Inventory team is a hard working, hands-on team of interdisciplinary workers who are equally comfortable with detailed analysis and warehouse operations. The Inventory Analyst role will be responsible for executing daily warehouse tasks as well as executing detailed analysis of inventory usage across a global company. Successful team members will have a deep understanding of all production processes, and use reports to solve complex problems in our high-value, high-velocity inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Receiving, Kit Pull, General Material Handling, Shipping
• Accuracy support: Cycle Count, WIP Audit, & Physical Count
• Disposition support: QC, Quarantine, Scrap, Research, MRB
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous Inventory Analyst experience required
• Ability to use Excel/Google Sheets to create reports and analyze data
• Detail oriented & excellent time management skills
• Adaptable to changing priorities and competing needs
• Enjoys solving problems
  

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong preference for intermediate Excel/Google Sheets Users
• Strong preference for ERP Experience (Netsuite, SAP)
• Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Jira proficiency
• Knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable workflow
• Manufacturing Execution System experience desired
• Material Handling and Forklift Experience is a plus
• Experience with 5S, Continuous Improvement, and other manufacturing systems.
  

Physical Requirements

• Sit/Stand for up to 8+ hours daily
• Able to lift 50-60 lbs repeatedly
• Navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low
  

Location: This position is in Alameda, CA. Our waterfront office offers beautiful views of San Francisco Bay in always sunny Alameda. Even our walls have good karma, our offices mix software development with a hardware production line in the former airplane hangar used to film 'The Matrix'.
