Company/Position Overview:
Thuasne is a mid-cap medical device company, manufacturing class I and class II devices, committed to providing high-quality products that enhance patient mobility, function, and quality of life.
Execute supply chain functions of Inventory Control as needed to achieve inventory accuracy objectives for service excellence and effective cost/resource utilization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the cycle count program; investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Assist in the physical counting and verification of inventory during month-end and year-end closing procedures as needed.
- Identify and pursue inactive, excess, and aging inventory for resolution, recovery, and process improvements. Gather input from QA, QC, Customer Services and Purchasing to determine actions.
- Help achieve and maintain target stock levels to ensure timely availability of materials, and avoid stockouts
- Coordinate movement of goods between facilities as needed,
- Set and maintain master data and planning parameters in the ERP/MRP system.
- Identify and pursue inactive, excess, and aging inventory for resolution, recovery, and process improvements. Gather input from QA, QC, Customer Services and Purchasing to determine actions.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain OR an associate degree with at least 2+ years of work in production planning or Inventory Control.
- 3+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of BOMs, routings, and inventory transactions
- Knowledge of shop floor control procedures.
- Good computer skills to include Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Preferred Requirements:
- APICS CPIM certification or the ability to attain certification within 18 months.
- Effective oral & written communication skills.
- Warehouse experience
- Understanding of operations, including purchasing, materials, order processing, production processes & procedures
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Ability to research problems using ERP systems.
- Power BI proficiency
