Drone Mining Engineer Intern 

Project Name: Drone 24 West Hub Surveying & Blasting 

Project Duration: 3months 

Paid Internship: The pay rate for this internship is commensurate with the candidate's years of schooling and major. The pay scale is between $15 - $26 per hour.

Requirements:

• Mining Engineering Degree Preferred

• Coursework Prerequisites: Surveying with drones

Location: Fernley, Nevada

PROJECT SCOPE:

Surveying 6 WestHub sites.
Evaluating blasting procedure in Superior, AZ

PROJECT DESCRIPTION & DELIVERABLES:

Surveying 6 mine sites, specifically, Lompoc, Quincy, Fernley, Tucker Hill, No Agua, and Superior using a drone with either PPK or RTK.
Evaluate blasting procedure in Superior AZ, to cost evaluation of alternatives.

PROJECT LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Gain experience with drone surveying and its lack of inherent accuracy.

• Evaluation of different blasting procedures.
