Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • The International Logistics Analyst III (Sr) will provide System Engineering and Data Analysis support to the Navy's Precision Strike Weapons (PMA-201) Integrated Product Team (IPT). for the Harpoon Missile, Joint Stand-Off Weapon (JSOW), and the Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM-ER). The program is divided into five Teams and supports twenty-eight countries (28) G2 PACCOM, (Chile, Israel, Japan, Korea), G3 FIVE EYES,( Australia, Canada, Poland, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand), G5 CENCOM (Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar), G6 INDO/EUR COM (Demark, Germany, Greece, India, Netherlands, Portugal, and Finland). This position will resolve technical specification and acquisition issues as they relate to system requirements. In addition, provide technical planning, technical support/test equipment, training/training systems, technical data, and technical personnel to the Aviation Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Software Engineering Directorate (SED) in support of the Program Manager, Air (PMA-201) FMS programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, coordinate, provide recommendations, and implement international program logistics requirements for IPS elements during an international program's life cycle, including business development, case development, case implementation, and case closure.

  • Provide guidance for Logistics Analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, and SE programs to the Program Office APML/Deputies and LEMs across the full spectrum of ILS elements.

  • Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, and SE programs.

  • Provides recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, SE, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities.

  • Provides recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans. Provides recommendations for the review and development of Maintenance Plans/Logistics Support Analysis (MP/LSA) records, maintenance tasks, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) recommendations

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

  • BS or BA Degree.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience required

  • Additional 5 years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a degree.

  • Other Requirements:

  • Confidential Security Clearance (Tier 3)

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience:

  • At least 5 years of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience

  • At least 10 years' of direct experience desired in acquisition LORA, Maintenance Planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis related to in service support of DoD weapons systems.

  • At least 4 years of experience desired supervising and directing at least three Logistics Analysts in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of ILS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition Command or supporting an acquisition command.
