We are looking for a summer internal to participate in the improvement of our ISO 9001 Internal Audit Process.
This position involves learning the Fluke Internal Audit Process by participating in several audits, coordinating with audit program managers globally to collect information and assist with leading a Process Improvement activity to reduce the amount of time required to perform audits and to simplify the overall process. This position provides the opportunity to see different areas of Fluke and learn about various products, processes, and functional groups.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in several internal ISO 9001 audits to learn the Fluke Internal Audit Process and the required documentation.
- Gather information on processes performed at other global Fluke locations and use this information to define the current state and baseline.
- Assist in the planning and participate as part of the team in the Process Improvement activities.
- Update documentation, work instructions and policies to define the new process.
- Test the new process and collect data and compare improvements to the baseline data.
- Must be able to relocate (if applicable) for the summer to work in Everett, Washington.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Desire to ask questions and learn new processes.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction but also provide ideas for improvements.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and the ISO 9001 standard helpful but not required.
