THE OPPORTUNITY:

Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.

The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months.  LEAP prepares sccessfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units.  Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship. 

PROGRAM DETAILS:

An inclusive and engaging experience that develops technical and professional skills through weekly virtual workshops, networking opportunities, and career panels that provide exposure to Sephora's career growth opportunities.

2024 PROGRAM DATES:

• June 3 - August 16
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, PST
• June 17 - 20:  On-Site Week in San Francisco at headquarters office 
• July 1 - 5: Week off for vacation

YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA:

As the Summer Intern Store and Digital Experience Manager, you will report to the Store Digital Experience Senior Manager with a mission of supporting strategic research and projects impacting the future in-store experience. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive data-informed recommendations, optimizing our Store Digital roadmap and enhancements.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH:

• Support the execution of assigned projects as it relates to the in-Store Digital Experience.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and make recommendations.
• Identify trends and insights relative to beauty and technology innovation, e.g. Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Participate in meetings and support ad-hoc requests.
• Complete a final research project, highlighting

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Strong background and interest in data analytics, digital technology and innovation.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Product
• Excel and PowerPoint savvy - comfortable synthesizing information, looking at data, making conclusions and presenting them to business partners
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Ability to communicate verbally and with presentations to convey data-driven insights
• Flexible/adaptable to help with a variety of duties/tasks, including admin work/data entry
• Retail or beauty experience is a plus (interest in the retail and beauty space is a must!)

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduating in 2024 or 2025 (undergraduate or graduate degree)
• Remote & hybrid program - work schedule must align with Pacific Standard Time
• Must permanently reside and work in the U.S.
• Must be open to relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area upon graduation for consideration for full-time hybrid positions *
• Available for the 1-week On-Site office experience in San Francisco, CA

The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
