POSITION SUMMARY:
Advanced Energy is currently seeking a Program Management Intern to support the Program Management Team in the execution of meeting project targets in terms of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
REPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Program Managers (PMs) to monitor New Product (NP) / factory builds to meet shipment schedule and targets.
- Monitor safety engineering schedule and align priorities among the PMs.
- Monitor reliability activities to meet the required target dates set by the PMs.
- Monitor material completion and expedite parts as needed to be able to meet build schedule.
- Support creation and maintenance of build plans and system schedule updates.
- Monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) with the PMs for major projects to make sure the team is meeting bill of materials (BOM) targets for each phase of development.
- Monitor and track project spend as needed.
- Make sure all demand is loaded into the system (SAP).
- Work with PMs to make sure data is updated in SharePoint and Smartsheets.
- Monitor PMs completion of deliverables for project development process (PDP) exit requirement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to collaborate and involve others in decision-making and problem solving.
- Ability to present ideas in a clear and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to motivate others in a team environment.
- Strong organization skills.
- Have some knowledge of SAP (preferred but not required).
- Experience with high performance, self-directed work teams preferred.
- Previous experience working on multiple projects is desired.
EDUCATION:
- Associates or BS in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or closely related field preferred
COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $18 to $22 per hour.
