The Western Union Denver Headquarter internship program provides university juniors, seniors, and graduate students with real-world experience working for an international brand. During this paid, 12-week program (June-August), you will develop your skills through a structured blend of CliftonStrengths® coaching, topical deep-dive sessions, team-building activities, executive networking opportunities, and enriching individual and team projects. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will help drive results and business growth through the following:
Role Responsibilities
- Drive awareness of product and business performance by establishing and optimizing reporting and business insights.
- Serve as contributor for agent/store activation and enablement workstream to drive retail customer acquisition and expansion into the market.
- Support program and project management of various aspects of a product launch into the market.
- Provide testing support for feature development while collaborating across product design, development, quality and other teams.
- Partner with stakeholders across business units (e.g., Sales, Finance, Security, and Compliance) to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
- Evaluate, analyze, and communicate product performance on a continuing basis, and maintain processes, including the delivery of various status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Author and update internal and external documentation.
- Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
- Develop meaningful and lasting relationships with partners and respond to questions and concerns as necessary.
Role Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college degree program at the time the internship commences (college graduates are not eligible unless they are registered for Graduate School in the Fall).
- 18 years of age or older and qualified to work in the United States.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Denver, Colorado based and able to work a hybrid on-site schedule.
- Minimum GPA of 3.40.
- Proven analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- A detailed planner and self-motivated contributor.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications.

Salary
The salary range is $25.00 - $35.00 USD per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies, including credits/years of university education completed.
