We are looking to add a Business Analyst/Product Owner to our Clearance Product Management team to support a variety of software development projects related to our clearance and custody platforms.
In this technology-focused role, you will be primarily responsible for developing user stories and requirements based on use cases and business requirements. You will work closely with the product management team and the business and technical subject matter experts to identify optimal solutions to business problems and customer use cases. To be effective in this role you must be able to synthesize inputs from multiple sources and translate those into clearly articulated requirements for the software engineers to build.
In this role, you will be expected to be autonomous, build consensus when there are differing opinions, and have the ability to drive projects forward to meet key milestone dates. Successful candidates will have a strong understanding of financial services and the software development process and be able to quickly identify blockers, requirement gaps, and other constraints, as well as help lead the team to overcome these impediments. This position is on-site and may be located at our office in Centennial CO or Omaha NE.

Responsibilities
- Ability to clarify ambiguous objectives by breaking projects down into component pieces
- Present recommendations both strategically and technically in a clear and effective manner
- Proven experience bringing disparate opinions together across multiple stakeholder groups
- Proactively identify potential issues and escalate as needed
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within short time frames
- Demonstrable experience working independently with little supervision while meeting aggressive timelines
- Ability to proactively analyze and assess current processes to define, document and implement improvements
- Working closely with supported business units to understand their needs
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance or automate processes for optimization and efficiencies
Requirements
- 2+ years' developing business and technical requirements for technology projects
- Expertise with issue and development tracking software such as Microsoft DevOps or Jira
- Experience working in an agile / scrum environment
- Experience in Financial Services, Brokerage or Clearing Operations, or Securities strongly preferred
