· Job Description:
Candidate will work with a diverse group of researchers, engineers to explore, innovate, and design novel/SOTA new technology solutions and algorithms for the next generation of XR/MR/AR/VR experiences, pushing forward the research and development of cutting-edge human-computer/human-machine interaction and corporation technologies. The ideal candidate is a highly creative individual with broad knowledge in SOTA Machine Learning, HCI, XR/MR/AR/VR, and/or Computer Vision, and with research and publication experiences in the fields. The candidate will play a significant role in developing novel algorithms, innovative system solutions, and open-source prototypes related to sensing, haptics, tracking, and interaction; generating high-value IPRs/patents; and publishing our latest findings in well-known conferences and journals.
Requirements:
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in HCI, Haptic Technologies, ARVR, and Computer Vision.
- Knowledge and hands-on experiences with SOTA Machine Learning algorithms and familiarity with ML implementation environments and platforms such as PyTorch and/or Tensorflow.
- Strong programming skills in python or C / C++ for Windows and/or Linux is required.
- Experience in working with open-source software frameworks is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ph.D or M.S. in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
Working Location: Santa Clara, CA
Hourly intern pay range: $18 to $59, depending on degree-seeking academic program (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, etc.), years of relevant experience, year in school, internship location, credentials, qualifications, geographic location and other job-related factors.
Housing allowance and relocation benefit might be provided to intern candidates who meet the qualifications. Additional details on the compensation package will be provided to candidates during the interview process.
