Eligibility Requirements
- Our internship program is remote based; however, the intern must be located in the United States.
- Per recent USCIS/DHS rulings, international students are required to work from a physical office location for 20% of the work week. Therefore, all international applicants must be located near one of our 4 office locations in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Virginia, or Colorado to be considered.
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student, enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (based on a 4.0 scale)
- Available to work full time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program (May 20th - August 9th).
- Required to undergo a pre-employment background check.
Working closely with the department, the Intern will be responsible for the following tasks
The intern will have responsibility for providing end-user support to the users of computing resources including desktop, corporate network, VPN, telecom, mobile and video conferencing services. Responsible for providing a highly scalable, reliable, and effective IT operations function that serves the IT processes which support the companies mission critical operations and corporate IT infrastructure. Successful candidate would be a dedicated and thorough “Problem Solver” and have an appetite for novel, new approaches for IT infrastructure and application delivery.
- Provide day-to-day IT administration and support to on-site as well as remote end-users through a combination of walk-up, telephone and ticketing system supporting a primarily Mac-based desktop environment including Active Directory/Office 365- and third-party cloud applications.
- Work as part of a team supporting all corporate systems and infrastructure including applications for Finance, HR and Marketing as well as LAN, WAN and communications infrastructure (phone, conferencing).
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and partners, including procurement of software and hardware.
- Provide regular monitoring, gathering, recording, and reporting of performance metrics including reporting on health of corporate IT services.
- Embrace and/or adopt industry best-practices in IT operations and support processes (e.g. ITIL).
- Establish and publish desktop/laptop/mobile hardware and software standards.
- Participate in the on boarding and off boarding process when necessary.
- Operate IT Operations toolsets, including SCCM.
- Support remote/offshore resources and contractors with remote access to corporate assets.
- Ability to support executives in a small, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills
- Meets all eligibility requirements listed above
- Must be enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an Undergraduate program or graduate student in a STEM program.
- Proven ability to successfully complete deliverables in a timely and efficient manner in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Familiarity with virtualized server environments.
- Solid MS Office skills (Excel)
- High energy and self-motivated
