The R&D Irons - Advanced Design intern will focus on updating legacy CREO CAD models with design features and parameters that allow automatic exporting of CAD shaping and CG mass properties to our IT database. This would allow a DOMO dashboard to be populated with historical iron CAD shaping and mass property data. The goal of this project would allow our CAD model parameters to be modernized with real time access to shaping and mass property data leading to a faster comparison and development process
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Creation and implementation of new design and measurement features in CREO CAD iron, putter and wedge solid models
- Verification and troubleshooting of new features
- Engaging with engineers and IT around accuracy of uploaded data
Knowledge Skills Required:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work across teams including global cross-functional teams, and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks
- Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf strongly preferred
- CREO Solid Modeling
Education/Work Experience:
- Undergraduate, completed junior or senior year of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
