Intern II, CAD Specialist (Hourly)
Job Description Summary:
To assist in the development, creation and manipulation of Revit models for each campus building.
Job Description:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Create Revit models for each campus building. These revit models will be used primarily in our GIS project, but will have other future uses for the department.
• Use .dwg's of floor plans, elevations and site plans and turn them into Revit models.

Other tasks that might be assigned could include but is not limited to:

• Assist in campus site plan updates in AutoCAD
• Assist in AutoCAD drawings for F&C team

Knowledge

• A knowledge of architectural documents
• BIM software's- AutoCAD and Revit

Skills

• Maintaining an established work schedule.
• Time Management skills to complete projects.
• Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
• Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Technology Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency with standard office software.
• Demonstrated proficiency with BIM software.

Required Work Experience

• One year related experience.

Required Education
One year related experience. Completion of A&E CAD - Architectural Specialization courses DFTG-2431 and DFTG-2428 can count as sufficient related experience.
Physical Requirements

• Work is performed in a standard office environment.
• Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
• Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 pounds.
