Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h/week) Intern, Human Resources Corporate position in Homewood, IL from May - August 2024.
Job SummaryThe Intern, Human Resources (HR) Corporate is responsible for assisting HR with different projects involving HR and Labour Relations (LR). The incumbent participates in full cycle grievance management, including preparing files for grievance resolution meetings. The role maintains and modifies existing grievance and discipline reports as well as creates new reports related to customers' requirements. The position contributes to LR related initiatives with Intermodal and Corporate Services. The incumbent prepares data and reports to Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) involving recruitment, retention, and talent management activities. Additionally, the position participates in regular HR activities, including talent review processes and recruitment activities.
