Come join Highgate for the summer in one of our dynamic internships! This exciting opportunity will support the overall operation of both the Executive Office & Human Resource Department in daily administrative functions. Assist the General Manager and Director of Human Resources with key responsibilities for both offices, which includes new hire administration, employee relations, training and communications with both hotel departments and Highgate corporate offices.
- Human resources (HR) intern provides valuable support in carrying out the day-to-day HR activities in the corporate office.
- Assist in administrative tasks in the HR department.
- Responsible for creating new hire files and audit employee files.
- Assist with corporate office event planning and execution.
- Support HH HR Inbox- HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare new hire gift bags and cubicles/office area.
- Input updates on the department’s internal HR systems and databases.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology or Communications.
- Minimum Junior Status.
- Able to demonstrate professional work ethic.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
- Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June-August), 2024.
- You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work onsite.
