Overview
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, this individual will participate in financial analysis and reporting of our value-based organization, Triad Healthcare Network. The intern will participate in the development of the annual financial target and play a role in the development of a standardized reporting process improvement initiative. Other duties may also be assigned as needed.
This internship position is a time-limited, temporary position with a start date of June 3rd, 2024. The total number of hours that an intern can work during this timeframe is 250 hours.
Interns hired for the summer cohort will be enrolled in Campus Greensboro's Summer Fellows Program. This is an in person, professional development training program sponsored by Cone Health. Some hours of program participation will be paid.

Responsibilities
DUTIES
Assist in the preparation of reports and sit in on presentations to key stakeholders. Collaborate in the development of the annual financial target. Assist in the standardization process of our value-based contract payor reporting. Engage in process improvement initiatives and help to implement solutions for improved financial workflows. Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- 3.0 GPA or higher and a junior, senior, or graduate student
- Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration major
