Remote Intellectual Property Paralegal (30-40 hours/week and $30-$32/hour)

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The focus of the firm is to develop and maintain long-term client partnerships through the creation of an exceptional client experience, in a culture oriented law firm. A polished, detail-oriented, highly responsive, proactive paralegal with a positive attitude is a must, as well as the below qualifications. This is a remote position.
- Patent and trademark prosecution: Prepare and file patent applications, trademark filings, and related documents.
- Docketing and calendaring: Maintain accurate and up-to-date docketing systems, including Alt Legal and Anaqua. Manage deadlines and ensure all filings are submitted on time.
- Legal research and writing: Conduct legal research, prepare briefs and other legal documents, and assist with client communication.
- Other duties: As assigned, including data entry, document review, and general office support.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience as an IP paralegal, with a strong understanding of patent and trademark law and procedures.
- Proven proficiency in Alt Legal and Anaqua docketing systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Skilled and candid communicator with excellent attention to details.
- Proactivity and reliability are your forté, and you are proud of it
- You take ownership of your work product and the tasks assigned to you.
- You are not afraid to ask questions in any and all gray areas so that your work product is pristine.
- Ability to be flexible and work with shifting priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
