- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Obtain and update patient insurance information accurately
- Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or rejections
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and coverage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance information
```Skills```
- Proficient in dental/medical terminology and coding (ICD-9, ICD-10)
- Knowledge of managed care and dental office insurance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment
- Familiarity with dental records management and HIPAA regulations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
