- Instructional Coach to support teachers who service General Education Students
- Coordinate, innovate, and improve current protocols with a 3–5-year goal of being implemented in more districts across the State.
- To provide Instructional Coaching using GPS Solutions protocols as outlined in the GPS Solutions Instructional Coaching Manual including 3 Quotients, Coaching Conversation Logs, and Relationship Framework Debrief Script
- Develop and progress monitor implementation of all Instructional Coaching protocols being delivered by all coaches.
- To develop, implement, co-create training programs on effective instructional practices using GPS Solutions approved templates, processes, content.
- To refine and improve instructional practices and compliance program for GPS Solutions current and future client schools.
- To implement all GPS Solutions foundational systems and processes (including but not limited to: protocols, blueprints, project launch, After Action Review, templates, etc.) with fidelity and consistency.
- To support the organization and implementation of Intervention Programming and Support Teams across Units and projects to enhance academic performance in school by assessing students’ needs.
- To collaboratively build, deliver and effectively report out on GPS Solutions intervention program offerings.
- To consult/collaborate with the Directors, building principals, teachers and specialists to develop GPS Solutions Service Delivery Plans that will be implemented at schools.
- To serve as a data resource to the GPS Solutions organization, Units, project departmental or grade level meetings, leadership meetings and PLC’s, as well as GPS Solutions Unit leadership.
- To set organizational and project goals and drive innovative teacher development and coaching programs.
- To act as a thought partner with Literacy Specialist Coordinator and Social Emotional Learning Coordinator, and additional GPS Solutions Program Specialists where and when appropriate to advance intervention goals and objectives.
- To identify and/or develop progress monitoring systems for teacher development across Units and projects, that live in the corporate approved repository/tech-based system (i.e., TEAMS).
- To consult with teachers/leaders via coaching and/or PLCs to determine strategies for teacher developmental support.
- To listen, support and model effective communication and problem-solving skills through restorative practices.
- To attend and/or present trainings as assigned.
- To participate and/or facilitate staff meetings, planning meetings and professional development.
- Implement GPS Solutions/client specific coaching programs to ensure programs are being run according to plan with fidelity.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of three-five years classroom instructional experience
- Experience and expertise working with first year/new teachers
- Experience working with At-Risk students and MTSS programming
- School Administrative experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in school leadership, curriculum and/or instruction, literacy or related area required
