We are dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, Water Quality, and operational excellence. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Water Quality Technician to join our team and ensure that our water treatment systems are effectively maintained and operated.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Water Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the Water Quality systems within our Water Park. You will be responsible for overseeing the testing, adjustments, and recording of water treatment equipment to ensure that our facilities meet and exceed industry standards for Water Quality and guest safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular testing of Water Quality in various areas of the park, including splash pads and river boat ride.
- Monitor and maintain proper chemical levels in the water, such as chlorine and PH levels, to ensure water cleanliness and safety.
- Investigate and address any issues related to Water Quality, such as cloudy water or unusual odors in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with park management and maintenance department to implement strategies to improve Water Quality and efficiency.
- Keep detailed records of Water Quality test results, maintenance activities, and any incidents or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations regarding Water Quality and safety.
Mandatory and Desired Qualifications/Education and Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Water Quality management or related field. CPO preferred.
- Previous experience in Water Quality testing or maintenance, preferably in a waterpark or aquatic facility.
- Strong understanding of water chemistry principles and familiarity with water treatment systems.
- Ability to accurately record and interpret test results.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with park guests.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
- Background check and drug test will be conducted upon employment offer.
