COMPENSATION: Based on Classified Pay Model
WORK CALENDAR: 183 Days
STANDARD HOURS: 7 Hours/Day
PERF: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District
ISS (BASE) SUPERVISOR
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a productive learning environment for students assigned to in-school suspension.
Establish and enforce proper behavioral expectations for students in in-school suspension that are in line with CPMS PBIS (Warrior Way) building expectations for school rules, guidelines, and policies.
Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records for students attending in-school suspension. Maintain behavior logs for students. Input discipline information in Synergy.
Contact teachers via email and personal contact to access assignments (typically via Google Classroom) for students assigned to in-school suspension and ensure that students complete them.
Build positive relationships and rapport with students assigned to ISS. Serve as a student advocate.
Work closely with school counselors, administration and other staff to assist students and develop/maintain an effective in-school suspension program.
Maintain a daily lunch detention list and effectively communicate to teachers/administration and effectively supervise in the cafeteria.
Maintain a weekly after school detention and Thursday School list and effectively supervise and communicate with parents/teachers/administrators.
Effectively supervise the car rider students each morning in the gymnasium.
Assist the secretarial staff as needed, including organizing parent/teacher conferences.
Substitute teach as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the administration.
