In this position you will use your experience to:
- Conduct sampling inspection tasks in accordance with standard procedures to verify compliance with established specifications, utilizing standard AQL and sampling techniques.
- Perform analytical and statistical compliance testing as directed.
- Identify and classify defects identified through inspection processes, report results to Manufacturing supervision for corrective action and disposition of defective product.
- Assure continuity of operation through communication with peers and Manufacturing supervision.
- Assist in preparation of reports as required; maintain inspection records in current status.
- Perform required tasks within proscribed schedule parameters for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Evaluate and classify defects identified through inspection processes, recommend corrective action and disposition of defective product.
- Support production operations and critical business situations, support overtime (including weekends).
The ideal candidate will possess:
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in the use of measuring devices and instruments; demonstrated ability to read and interpret prints, specifications, and standards.
- Demonstrated competence in use of available software for report preparation.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact with others and with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational skills. Maintain accurate record filling.
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
- Ability to demonstrate high level of proficiency in the use of measuring devices and instruments, to read and interpret prints, specifications, and sampling plans.
- Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds, as well as across all levels of the organization.
