The following challenges await you:

• Interprets and understands customer and internal drawings and specifications.
• Inspects received (incoming) materials in accordance with purchase orders and specifications.
• Performs a final documentation audit prior packaging of shipments to the customer and assures resolution to discrepancies prior to shipment.
• Measures dimensions of materials/components/product using precision tools such as calipers, gages, microscopes, comparator, laser micrometer and video inspection equipment, etc.
• Maintains highly accurate and legible quality records.
• Makes recommendations on decisions as to the acceptable quality; reasons for rejection; completes required quality records. Identify, initiate quarantine, report and document all non-conforming product.

Your Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 - 3 years quality inspection experience required.
• Proficient with use of precision tools such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, comparator, laser micrometer and video inspection equipment.
• Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. SPC training preferred.
• Familiar with ISO audit techniques and procedures a plus
