What we are looking for:
The FACT Inspector Development Specialist position offers an exciting new career opportunity in the rapidly evolving field of cellular therapy. This position will be responsible for managing all activities related to initial training of FACT inspectors, to include reviewing qualifications, tracking completion of training requirements, scheduling on-site training inspections, facilitating mentor-trainee interactions, and approving trainees for active inspector status.
The Inspector Development Specialist will effectively manage the active FACT inspectorate of over 200 volunteers, prepare and disseminate confidential information, and monitor the inspection process to ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to all customers, staff, and volunteers.

- Strong English verbal and written communication skills and capacity for communicating and collaborating respectfully and effectively with non-native English speakers.
- Flexibility, adaptability for changing needs, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communication, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant experience is required.
- Basic understanding of the not-for-profit health care industry is a plus.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspector Application and Training (30%)
- Develops and maintains system for tracking inspector applications, application status, and completion of training requirements, including related communications.
- Reviews inspector applications and gathers additional information needed for approval and assignment.
- Maintains communication with inspector trainees during the training process.
- Coordinates scheduling of on-site training inspections with FACT Business Manager.
- Facilitates mentor-trainee interactions to ensure comprehensive inspector training.
Coordination and Planning (25%)
- Assists the FACT Business Manager in coordination and planning of inspections and other on-site visits between organizations and volunteers.
- Assists in organizing and maintaining a specialized database for active FACT inspectors.
- Gathers, verifies, and assists in the analysis of inspector data.
Inspector Development and Education (20%)
- Assists in coordination and planning of inspector training courses.
- Assists in developing inspector continuing education.
- Coordinates inspector recognition and appreciation events and activities.
Policies and Procedures (10%)
- Assists in writing and revising policies, standard operating procedures, and other inspector resources.
Publications (10%)
- Develops, publishes, and maintains inspector-specific publications, e.g., Inspector Bulletin, Inspector Handbook.
- Assists in the preparation of FACT material/data for publication.
- Ensures accuracy of inspector data for publication.
Inspector and Volunteer Support (5%)
- Ensures volunteers are apprised of changes and updates of all policies, procedures, and processes.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel to support FACT activities (e.g., workshops, conferences, staff meetings) may be required as necessary.
