Join us as an Inspector and Gauge Setter in our Kansas City, KS facility.
You will be responsible for inspecting purchased or machined parts, castings, finished goods, etc. to specified levels and adjust measuring instrumentation.

- The anticipated hourly pay for this role is: $26.81. This position comes with a $1 pay increase after 6 months and $1 pay increase after 1 year.

More details about the opportunity:
- Inspect purchased parts, perform first piece in-process and final inspection on pump and motor parts
- Check pumps, motors and engines for abnormal vibration, noise, leakage, performance and finish
- Inspect finished products for damage, proper packaging, instructions, kits, labeling, and attaches appropriate instructions, tag, etc.
- Advise production personnel of disposition taken on machined parts, sub-assemblies, pumps and motors according to pre-determined standards
- Prepare and verify quality control documents such as, hold or stop rejection tickets, receiving or inspection reports, and audits production documentation
- Check and adjusts measuring instrumentation and maintains daily record on location of measuring instruments
- Reports defective material and equipment to supervision.
- Maintains good housekeeping by keeping tools, material and equipment in proper place.
- Observes all safety rules and watches for safety of others
Position hours/shift:
- 1st shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor. Must be able to read bills-of-material and blueprints, as well as follow written or verbal instructions. Must be able to operate mobile equipment as directed. Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
