Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Identify new opportunities and customers and maintain order frequency through phone and email. Follow up with inbound leads daily and develop a working knowledge of accounts.
- Utilize CRM software with existing and future customers; maintain pertinent account details record each customer contact (fax. phone, email or in person date and time of call, nature of inquiry, and time/confirmation of completion.
- Maintain CRM database of prospective clients and opportunities
- Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
- Closing sales and working with client through closing process
- Respond to all inbound sales calls and client services related issues in a timely manner
- Provide superior customer service and assist with related duties
Education: BS/BA in Chemistry, Sciences, Marketing, or related field (four
years experience may substitute for a degree)
Experience: 2+ years Inside Sales or customer service experience
Ability and/or Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CRM / Salesforce preferred
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft applications, LIMS and CRM
- Excellent verbal (telephone) and written (email) communication skills.
- Knowledge of environmental sampling and analytical methods
- Comfortable interfacing with clients on a daily basis on technical issues
- Energetic, motivated self-starter with a proven track record of building sales and previous customer service experience
- Able to work in a team environment
- Good writing skills; computer skills such as Excel, Word, Access
