Job Description

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing and coaching a team of Inside Sales representatives. They are responsible for building a team of high performing sales representatives that provide industry leading solutions for our customers.


The Inside Sales Manager works closely with the Field sales team to ensure customers receive a high level of support. They will have a sales quota for assigned accounts and support the field sales territories for common customers. They are responsible for setting and reaching new opportunity creation, funnel management, and sales targets.


There will be a fast pace of launching new sales campaigns, lead generation, and opportunity follow-up. You will know when and how to introduce other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to our customers as part of your winning strategy.


You must have an entrepreneurial drive to target, educate, and persuade customers to use Evident innovative product solutions.

Job Duties

  • Create, implement, and execute an Inside Sales business strategy to grow the T&M business.
  • Hiring, training, and coaching of Inside Sales representatives.
  • Responsible for achieving annual sales target defined for the Inside Sales channel.
  • Perform weekly sales opportunity and forecast reviews within the CRM environment.
  • Engaging with Inside Sales team to drive performance, including review, and tracking of KPIs.
  • Interacts with outside Sales Managers to ensure coordination with Technical Sales Reps and Inside Sales.
  • Development of Inside Sales as a modern sales model with faster and more efficient sales processes.
  • Responsible for effective utilization of all company CRM and sales enablement software.

Job Requirements


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
  • 5+ years experience in successful Inside or Outside sales experience meeting financial targets in industrial sales required - Including:
  • 2 years of successful sales management experience.
  • At at least 2 years of experience selling or working with ultrasonics, eddy current, remote visual, X-ray Florescence, or other related non-destructive testing products is preferred.
  • Quantitative approach to understanding, measuring, and forecasting customer sales.
  • Proven record of strategic selling.
  • High-level ability to demonstrate product software and advanced products to customers.
  • Using digital means to reach customers using virtual meetings and demonstrations.
  • Ability to develop and strengthen strong selling and negotiating skills of direct reports.
  • Working in a team environment to reach a common target and satisfy each customer.
