SalaryEaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking an Inside Sales Engineer. This is a hybrid-based position and candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our Houston, TX or Tulsa, OK location. Relocation assistance will be offered.
What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
The primary function of the Industrial Inside Sales Engineer role will be to support management, outside Sales Engineers and internal/external customers by being a subject matter expert in the quotation and support of the industrial customer base. Responsibilities include but are not limited to pricing and negotiation of industrial projects, technical product support for both internal & external customers and supporting channel partners in industrial product support and training. This role is regional and will be working with Eaton sales team members and customers across multiple markets in the Oklahoma, north Texas and northern Louisiana area.
The Inside Sales Engineer is to act as a technical and commercial resource to field sales, customers and distributors for quotations and project management of power distribution and control products.

In this function you will:
- Review and interpret customer needs on plans and specifications; determine the minimum bill of material, most competitive price level and shipment cycle within the market segment pertaining to each specific negotiation
- Proactively facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution
- Coordinate warranty and non-warranty repairs and returns, which include shipping issues or service requests
- Project manage small to medium projects on as needed basis
- Establish and maintain the highest possible commercial relations with present and potential customers (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the art of salesmanship, application engineering, product knowledge, knowledge of customers business and organization and knowledge of Eaton product lines strategic plans for sales growth

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum one (1) year of sales-related experience and/or marketing experience
- Experience or exposure to a manufacturing organization
- Electrical experience with low to medium voltage systems
- Commercial experience

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and sales incentive. This position has a total compensation range of $70,180 - $102,850.
