Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting Injection Molding machines, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Injection Molding machines to ensure efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement improvements in machine performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new Injection Molding machines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and machine performance.
- Provide emergency/breakdown repairs for Injection Molding and auxiliary equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Injection Molding machinery, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.
