Process Technician - Plastic Molding Injection

As a Process Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our production adheres to strict quality standards and schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate plastic injection molding presses, following precise processing specifications.
• Prepare and install molds/tools for new production runs, managing resin drying and adjusting machine parameters as necessary.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Leverage extensive knowledge and experience in processing engineering-grade resins.
• Conduct basic TPM on tools/molds as needed.
• Switch colors and materials following the mold change schedule.
• Perform quality checks on the first part of production to ensure adherence to our high-quality standards.
• Be available for flexible work hours, including overtime when needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Follow and enforce quality control procedures to maintain our product standards and certifications.
• Ensure production and on-time delivery by meticulously following schedules and addressing any delays promptly.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis of tooling breakage or damage, and recommend corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise during the injection molding process.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and actively promote a culture of safety within the plastic injection molding area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with plastic injection molding, preferably in a Process Technician role.
• Proficiency in industrial electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to precisely follow processing specifications.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and take a leadership role when necessary.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to perform according to schedule in a flexible, dynamic work environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to perform any other duties as assigned.
