Job Description

The Lead Ingest Operator is responsible for the daily task oversight of the daily CBS Ingest area

• Monitors the ingest team performing their duties including: ingest and QC of broadcast material, operating routers, waveform monitors, and encoding equipment

• Ensures all assignments are being completed by the Ingest staff.

• Assists with maintenance of operations-based server functions.

• Works to the supervisors and Ingest Manager in resolving outstanding issues.

• Ensures that specified, technical network procedures are being satisfied.

• Performs all duties of the ingest function including trimming programming and entering timing information into Server Database.

• Provide relief for Ingest Operators when necessary.
