We are seeking a Senior technology Infra Associate. The successful candidate will work along with the development and the technical solutions team in providing support to deliver application environment related changes and coordinating risk and compliance related changes. It requires automating daily infrastructure support tasks. Develop scripts to automate regular infrastructure tasks. It involves interaction with various teams including Development Project Manager, the development, testing, operations, and production support teams, as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as the System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS Platforms.
He/she requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience communicating effectively across business and technical teams. across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility. The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a fast paced, large team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in fast paced, multitasking, prioritize and navigate the busy high pressured environment is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve problems through evaluative judgment, troubleshooting and analysis
- Ensure successful completion of data loads and batch processing
- Participate in testing activities, including the creation and execution of basic test scripts
- Execute project plan task
- Participate in control activities (risk, self-assessment, COB, audit, etc.) and make recommendations for enhancements
- Evaluate issues using existing procedures or similar/related experiences; recommend and implement solutions
- Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming
- Excellent Project Management and cross team engagement experience
- Experience in working multiple OS (Unix, Linux, Win) hosted applications
- Significant experience with App/Web Server (such as Weblogic, Websphere/WAS/OHS/IHS)
- Good Knowledge on implementing CICD implementation and Dev Ops tools.
- Excellent knowledge of App servers WAS/Weblogic, Web-servers IHS/OHS, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery.
- Worked on source code management such as Git Bit bucket, SVN
- Hands- on Experience with Unix/ LINUX, shell scripting and build automation, will be expected to develop scripts and maintain source code for the scripts developed.
- Conversant with programming languages such as .Net, Java Applications i.n FMI.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware/Software/Connectivity
- Knowledge and understanding of system flow charts, data processing concepts, and principles.
- Good Knowledge in scripting and troubleshooting the environment issues.
- Build Tools like Team City, Sonar, Jenkins, uDeploy, Jira
- Knowledge on Containerization, OpenShift is a plus
- Knowledge of Web security frameworks, Certificate Management and various Vulnerability Assessment tools.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting pp/Web Server (such as Weblogic, Websphere/WAS/OHS/IHS)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
- Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
