Information Systems Support Specialist

Position Summary: CSMI Consulting Group, an education consulting company that provides services to charter schools in PA & NJ, is seeking a candidate to become a member of the Information Systems team. The IS team manages all data, applications, and mandated state reporting for the schools from a centralized location located at its corporate offices. One of the main responsibilities of this position is coordinating all tasks related to state-required PIMS (PA Dept of Ed) reporting. This position works closely with other members of the IS team, school principals, central office staff, governmental agencies, and local school district personnel. Will provide support and training as required to school district staff.

• Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
• Minimum of three years Information Systems experience.
• Experience working in a school (educational setting) and with Student Information Systems (SIS) is preferred.
• Knowledge of State level reporting requirements for public school systems is highly preferred.
• Experience creating ad hoc queries and reports using BI tools.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office product suite (with an emphasis on EXCEL).
• Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize competing demands, project and tasks.
• Ability to work independently to meet goals and deadlines.
• Detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in correcting data errors or omissions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by work assignments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.

This is a 12-month position on-site. Applicant must be able to provide a clear Criminal Record & Child Abuse Clearances.
