Job Description
The Information Systems Product Manager is an integral part of ensuring our technical capabilities support Blue Circle Health in providing world-class care to serve people living with type 1 diabetes around the nation. This role will own balancing the IS roadmaps between meeting organizational objectives, scaling our capabilities, ensuring reliable operations, and the user experience needs of the internal care delivery teams. The Product Manager will set the design and implementation vision for technology solutions from identification and requirements gathering through continued enhancements of those solutions.
This is a full-time, home-based position, eligible for a full benefits package including paid holidays and time off, and competitive pay in a flexible, mission-based work environment. Candidates can live anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements:Responsibilities & Capabilities
- Align IS strategy, initiatives, and implementation plans with organizational objectives and metrics.
- Manage the team designing and implementing care delivery SaaS solutions that we purchased – such as our EHR, recruitment CRM, and community services platform.
- Develop and design vision and strategy and coordinate use cases and implementation plans across functional technical teams inclusive of care delivery and patient recruiting SaaS solutions, BI reporting and analytics, data engineering and data platform, and IT operations.
- Balance prioritization of use cases between organizational objectives, care delivery user experience, patient experience, and long-term infrastructure.
- Advocate for both the care delivery teams and for our patients to deliver solutions that solve their needs and consider usability from their perspective.
- Work with leadership and individuals across departments to organize, define, and prioritize use cases, user stories, and key results.
- Strategize and communicate with leadership and stakeholders chosen solutions, risks, limitations, and the rollout timeline with milestones.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders to understand solutions, existing capabilities, dependencies, implementation challenges to inform rollout strategy and create timelines.
- Coordinate the launch of solutions and rollout of enhancements to ensure users are trained and care delivery disruption is minimized.
- Manage, along with the IS team, user acceptance testing and validation of implementations prior to deployment to users.
- Gather and communicate internally the solutions and strategies other care delivery organizations use to provide and scale offerings to their populations.
- Research and vet potential technical partners and solutions that allows BCH to expand their offerings beyond existing capabilities.
- Be an ambassador to the Blue Circle mission and work tirelessly to provide a world class user experience that prioritizes usability and functionality.
Expected Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a product management or ownership role.
- Significant experience engaging with clinical healthcare users in a clinic, ambulatory or telehealth setting understanding their workflows, needs, processes and regulatory standards.
- Experience in the implementation and rollout of multiple enterprise-wide clinical technical solutions.
- Experience directly engaging with internal IS/IT and software engineering teams while in the product role to understand technical requirements, challenges, and ideas.
- Ability to flex to technical project management when needs arise for ensuring successful implementation of objectives.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to communicate and influence effectively at various levels throughout the organization.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to develop effective strategies to address complex business needs.
- Ability to influence without authority and utilize positive influence skills.
- Well-organized, plans activities, and consistently follows-up.
Additional Desired Experience
- 2+ years experience in using, implementing, managing, production rollout and lifecycle of CRM Solutions for engagement management.
- 2+ years experience in using, implementing, managing, production rollout and lifecycle of EHR/EMR Solutions.
- Product-focused startup experience.
- Experience with agile methodology and other methods for iterative development lifecycles.
