We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Claymont, Delaware! AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood Windows and Doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.
Schedule: Monday Friday; 7 AM Start (over time as needed)
Pay Range: Dependent on experience.
Production Manager General Accountabilities:
Ensure and manage the production crews are completing projects timely and accurately. Ensure staff acts in a professional manner.
Oversee and direct production crews to complete the work accurately, within schedule budget, and meet AWR standards.
Monitor project progress and make changes as necessary including proper photo and paper documentation.
Training new production crew members in accordance with AWRs standards.
Assistance with creating and implementing standard operating procedures.
Following and confirming AWRs standard operating procedures are being met.
Maintain accurate records of projects.
Inspect all work products to ensure quality throughout the process.
Communicate with management in a timely manner.
Delivery of an extraordinary experience to our customers.
Ensure clean and safe storage of all equipment.
Follows company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Working with Human Resource on counseling, coaching, hiring, and termination
Other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role with strong knowledge of construction process.
Ability to learn window and door procedures.
Must have proficient technology skills in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, Dropbox, and related construction applications.
Must have interpersonal skills in focusing on solving conflict and maintaining confidentiality.
Must have proficient computer literacy required in ability to communicate, expedite, and respond to upper management timely and accurately.
Must have proficient organizational skills in planning and managing teams daily tasks, schedules, and developing realistic action plans.
Ability to stand on feet 8-10 hours per day, maintain balance, bend, climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat frequently.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime when needed.
Able to travel if needed.
Must have OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
Require current drivers license.
Must be able to work in the United States.
