Your Role
Under general supervision, you will assist in analyzing, planning, implementing, and enhancing large complex systems or networks consisting of a combination that may include AWS and Azure could environments, personal computers, mobile devices, LANS, WANs, servers, data storage and the physical and logical components that integrate these systems together as an enterprise. You will assist in implementing multiple enterprise-grade security monitoring and hardening systems and the business processes to support and utilize them.
What will you be doing
Responsibilities/Key Objectives
- Assists in the implementation of multiple security platforms, and develop policies for their effective use.
- Trains other employees and promote/facilitate their adoption by HPA business units into existing business practices.
- Responds to information system security incidents, including investigation of, countermeasures to, and recovery from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches; interacts and coordinates with third-party incident responders, including law enforcement.
- Administers authentication and access controls, including provisioning, changes, and deprovisioning of user and system accounts, security/access roles, and access permissions to information assets.
- Analyzes trends, news and changes in threat and compliance environment with respect to organizational risk; advises organization management and develops and executes plans for compliance and mitigation of risk; performs risk and compliance self-assessments and engages and coordinates third-party risk and compliance assessments.
- Monitors information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develops monitoring and visibility capabilities; reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
- Analyzes and develops Information Security governance, including organizational policies, procedures, standards, baselines and guidelines with respect to Information Security and use and operation of information systems.

What we look for
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience desired.
- Industry standard security certification desired (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+)
- Experience with CIS standards, server hardening, and risk assessments.
- Knowledge of securing medium and large business environments to meet standard security best practices.
- Cloud hosting services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS) experience (AWS, Azure).
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Windows architecture, Mac, and Linux (Debian based).
