Job Description:
Provide a nurturing, loving, developmentally appropriate learning environment for the children in their care,
Create and implement lesson plans and activities that engage the children in many opportunities for language, gross motor, fine motor and social-emotional development,
Track child data in order to inform the parents such as meals, diapers, naps, etc.
Demonstrate adherence to classroom routines, licensing regulations, emergency procedures
Develop positive relationships with parents and fellow teachers
This is a Monday through Friday position, No weekends or major holidays
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ to 5 years of experience
- Age Groups: Infant, Toddler, Preschool
- High school degree
- First Aid Training, CPR Training
Compassionate attitude
A passion for the development and education of young children
High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years (2500 hours) documented experience with children
Ability to obtain State Police, Childline, FBI clearances, Mandated Reporter and NSOR certificates.
Must have a complete health assessment upon start and must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activities with the children.
