Nurturing Young Learners: Preschool/Toddler/Infant Teacher or Assistant Teacher
World of Whimsy Creative Learning Center (WOW-CLC), a warm and inviting center with a maximum capacity of 35 children, is seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team! We offer the personalized care of an in-home setting with the structure and resources of a larger center. In this role, you'll play a vital role in fostering the development of young minds in a fun and stimulating environment, focusing on either preschoolers, toddlers, or Infants depending on the specific position. We are hiring for both Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers.

Responsibilities (will vary depending on age group and role):
- Lead Teacher:
- Create and implement engaging age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all domains (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language). Bonus points! Experience with Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum is a plus, as this is the curriculum used at WOW-CLC.
- Provide individualized attention and care to each child, catering to their unique needs and interests.
- Observe and document children's progress, communicating effectively with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the center owner to ensure a smooth and positive learning experience for all children. (Lead Teacher responsibilities only)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space. (Lead Teacher responsibilities only)
- Assistant Teacher:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging age-appropriate activities.
- Provide hands-on care and supervision to children throughout the day.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom space.
Qualifications:
- Lead Teacher:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of one year experience working with children in a childcare setting (experience with the specific age group - infants, toddlers, or preschoolers - a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Willingness to pursue and ultimately obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Assistant Teacher:
- High school diploma required.
- Prior experience working with children a plus.
- Passion for early childhood education and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
