Kidsborough is excited to announce the opening of littleborough; a childcare center working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a state-of-the art space. Our pilot program in Hopkinton, MA will ideally be the first of many. We are eager to bring on creative, dynamic and caring individuals to help build a supportive environment. As a teacher, you will be responsible for adapting to the specific needs of the classroom in support of the lead teacher while ensuring that littleborough’s philosophies are being carried out on a daily basis.

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years related experience working with children between the ages of 0-5 years old
Must meet EEC teacher requirements for desired age group
Current first aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Reliable, passionate and motivated to provide the highest quality care
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, healthy and welcoming environment for children; providing direct supervision when in ratio.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that is in support of play-based learning.
- Assist the lead teacher in the running of your classrooms: prepping activities, following EEC guidelines, providing a safe and clean environment, etc.
- Work with fellow teachers to document and share daily child milestones, observations, progress reports, and other reports as required by the EEC.
- Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff while fostering an overall positive and respectful environment.
- Share ideas in planning a daily schedule which provides a balance of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor, social/emotional, etc.
- Respect and observe children's interests and needs.
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
