Full-Time Service Porter Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining the dealership lot.
Service Porter Job Duties:
- Park vehicles in assigned areas.
- Assign stock numbers to vehicles, catalog, and store keys.
- Assist technicians or porters when needed per Service Manager
- Helping customers locate their vehicles when they come to pick them up.
- During winter months, keep doorways shoveled, sanded, and cleared. Also, clear snow and ice from vehicles in the lot.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dealership lot.
- Picking up and delivering parts, personnel, and paperwork as other dealership departments require.
- Perform tasks such as washing customer vehicles, emptying trash containers, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Porter Skills and Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Team oriented.
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Work well with little to no supervision.
