JOB DESCRIPTION:
POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a skilled professional responsible for operating equipment to consistently produce high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will be adept at performing a range of tasks on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Quality Assurance to ensure weld quality, working with interlocking systems for automated equipment, and maintaining various systems and equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system tasks.
2. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to verify and adjust weld quality.
3. Work with interlocking systems for automated and semi-automated equipment.
4. Repair sensors, modules, and field wiring as necessary.
5. Install piping systems for diverse process needs (Hydraulic and Pneumatic).
6. Fabricate components based on blueprints, written, or verbal instructions.
7. Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and compasses.
8. Work with industrial control systems.
9. Execute basic mechanical functions on automated equipment.
10. Conduct maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical equipment.
11. Operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
12. Utilize maintenance shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, Volt OHM Meter (VOM), and Digital Multi Meter (DMM).
13. Ensure proper handling of Hazardous Waste generated by the plant.
14. Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks (Electrical, Mechanical, Fixturing).
15. Foster a team-oriented environment, upholding quality goals.
16. Undertake additional duties as assigned by Team Leader, Facilitator, or Manager.
17. Maintain a clean work area.
18. Troubleshoot problems with weld controllers, from the substation to welding tips (a plus).
19. Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) problems via computer (a plus).
20. Possess manual machinist and fabrication experience (a plus).
